You will be performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on food processing equipment. Responsibilities include both mechanical and electrical repairs, breaking down machinery for cleaning, and startup of the machinery. Strong skills in electrical troubleshooting are essential.
Responsibilities- Perform preventive maintenance on food processing equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
- Break down machinery for cleaning and reassemble for startup.
- Use maintenance experience to perform repairs and PMs on plant equipment.
- Diagnose and repair electrical issues, including control voltage (24V) and 3-phase up to 480V.
- Work with pneumatics, power transmission, pulleys, chains, sprockets, drives, motors, conveyors, belts, bearings, and gears.
- Apply basic PLC knowledge in maintenance tasks.
- Work 10-12 hour days, 6-7 days a week with flexibility for additional hours if needed.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial mechanic/technician role.
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with control voltage (24V) and 3-phase up to 480V.
- Experience with pneumatics, power transmission, pulleys, chains, sprockets, drives, motors, conveyors, belts, bearings, and gears.
- Basic PLC knowledge.
- Ability to work 10-12 hour days, 6-7 days a week.
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Technical certification or associate's degree in a relevant field is a plus.
- Food/GMP experience is a significant advantage.
- Welding/fabricating skills.
