Crown Staffing is Hiring
We are seeking a dedicated Parts Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for researching and ordering parts related to the servicing of material handling equipment, docks, and doors. The Parts Specialist will also maintain parts inventory, manage stock orders, and ship and receive parts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer and process incoming parts calls and emails from customers and service technicians
  • Source parts using preferred vendors
  • Order parts and develop relationships with outside vendors
  • Provide parts availability and pricing information
  • Pull orders, receive, and put up stock
  • Communicate status of backorders and NDA orders to customers or service managers
  • Coordinate special shipping instructions
  • Present technical information professionally and on time
  • Enhance customer retention by monitoring satisfaction with parts support and responding to concerns
  • Maintain contact with current and prospective customers
  • Prepare customer quotes for parts pricing and submit to territory managers for labor quotes
  • Process paperwork and maintain inventory control, including cycle counts of stockrooms, vans, and customer consignments
  • Reach sales target goals
  • Resolve customer inquiries and complaints
  • Collaborate with service managers to schedule work orders based on parts availability

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or a related field
  • Knowledge of automotive, mechanical, or forklift parts is a plus
  • Ability to navigate QuickBooks, parts research software, and field service software
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and the ability to multitask
  • Ability to read or learn to read parts schematics
  • Strong organizational, numerical perception, and computer skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record
  • Parts or inventory control experience and lift truck industry experience preferred
