Job Description:This role will support the business with a focus on improving inventory management processes with a particular focus on shipping. This role will use the SAP system to execute inventory management transactions with a focus on shipping completed items to customers, shipping to other L3 Harris entitles, and shipping of subcontract items to suppliers.
Qualified candidates will interact with all elements of the program team to develop and support regular communications of status, issues, improvements, and corrective actions. The candidate will be able to demonstrate agility among a variety of tasks.
Skills/Experience:Work with the Manager, Inventory Management and Operations Managers to support execution of the production plan and meet customer expectations. Daily tasks include processing of SAP transactions to enable shipment of completed items and subcontract items to the appropriate recipients, Understanding and execution of all business policies and procedures for compliance to site AS9100 standards is essential to preserve industry certifications.
Understand the use of SAP to ensure accuracy of transactions
Support a group of working stockroom associates to ensure work is completed in a timely manner
Ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities daily
Understanding of and familiarity of LEAN and continuous improvement methodologies to improve shipment processes
Required Skills:Knowledge of SAP / S4 Hana
Ability to obtain Secret Clearance
Understanding of MMAS, Cycle Counts, and Financial Inventory Reporting
Desired Skills:Prior Experience in engineering and operations/manufacturing environment.
Military contractor / Defense industry backgroundObjective thinking with a passion for problem solving and the ability to execute challenging tasks to completion
Degree Requirements:Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
