Job DescriptionJob Description

Aerotek is currently hiring for maintenance mechanics in the greater Jessup, MD area Qualified candidates will be able to perform the following duties:

Job Description:

  • Troubleshoot equipment and facility problems and perform immediate repairs
  • Perform prescribed preventive maintenance on equipment
  • Completes assigned work orders and interfaces with production personnel in troubleshooting or design improvements
  • Rebuild and fabricate parts as required
  • Assist in the installation of new equipment
  • Generate parts request to ensure adequate inventory

Job Qualifications:

  • Experienced in installation of bearings, sheaves, sprockets, gearboxes, chain, belts, motors
  • Basic Welding skills are a plus
  • Fabrication skills preferred
