Job DescriptionJob Description

We are looking for an Accounting Clerk to join our team in Allentown, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will be responsible for managing invoicing functions for various divisions of sales and purchases, handling customer inquiries, maintaining customer records, and taking necessary actions on customer accounts. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.


Responsibilities:


• Handle daily billing processes efficiently.

• Collaborate with other team members to resolve issues and answer queries.

• Assist in closing activities at the end of the month.

• Verify and proofread work to ensure accuracy.

• Use Microsoft and web-based software to perform tasks.

• Conduct research on billing errors and issue debit or credit memos to rectify them.

• Work with various departments to provide documents as per customer requests that are not part of the normal billing cycle.

• Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing, Data Entry, Invoice Processing, and Microsoft Excel.

• Take on other duties and responsibilities as needed.

• Possess proficiency in Account Reconciliation
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)
• Skilled in Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Familiarity with Billing processes
• Capable of performing Data Entry tasks efficiently
• Experience in Invoice Processing
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Must possess strong attention to detail
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
