Currently hiring a Maintenance Mechanic in the Marseilles, IL area. Hiring immediately.

Pay: $30-$35/HR. OT available.

Job Description:
  • Must be able to read prints and schematics, troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic pumps, and repair defective equipment such as yard trucks, trailers, large forklifts, and overhead cranes.
  • Repairing, installing, and adjusting industrial machinery
  • Knowledge of electrical operations throughout the facility is essential, along with the ability to inspect electrical equipment, wiring, fixtures, and other components to ensure they are functional and up to code.
  • Ability to determine the reasons for any malfunctions and create maintenance or repair plans, repair electrical systems, review blueprints, assemble and install electrical panels, and perform periodic maintenance and repairs on all company property and equipment as directed by the maintenance supervisor.
  • Coordination with multiple areas of the warehouse and coworkers to complete tasks, maintaining compliance with safety requirements, and showing initiative to proactively seek out work are also key responsibilities.
  • Must be an enthusiastic team player with a positive attitude, committed to a respectful workplace, and dependable in terms of attendance and punctuality.
  • Overtime and weekend work may be required depending on business needs, and the candidate may need to perform other warehouse tasks or special projects as specified by management.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or Technical School Degree with appropriate mechanical and electrical skills.
  • 1-2 years general maintenance & repair experience or any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved.
  • Extensive knowledge of equipment and automotive repair.
