Starting pay rate is $47.81/hr.
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
Repair and maintain electrical equipment such as motors, generators commutators, circuit breakers, controls and relays, switches.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Assist electrical mechanics of higher classification in the performance of their duties.
- Make routine inspections of electrical equipment during outages and report conditions found.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma
- Ability to pass pre-employment testing
- Ability to work different shifts
- Ability to receive unescorted Nuclear access
- AND one of the following:
- Associates degree in a technical field
- OR Two years minimum related Electrical military experience
- OR Two years minimum experience as a journeyperson Electrician
- OR Two years minimum of equivalent journeyperson Electrician experience in industrial employment
