Job Description:
The Staff Accountant will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, assisting with month-end close, and supporting daily accounting operations. You will work closely with the accounting team to maintain the integrity of financial records and contribute to process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and record journal entries in compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and analysis of general ledger accounts.
• Reconcile bank accounts and other key balance sheet accounts on a regular basis.
• Support the preparation of financial statements and various financial reports.
• Assist in the preparation of supporting documents for audits and tax filings.
• Maintain fixed asset records and perform related reconciliations.
• Review and process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support process improvements and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Assist with special projects and ad hoc reporting as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience; public accounting or corporate accounting experience is preferred.
• Strong understanding of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to work with complex data and perform functions such as pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and reconciliations.
• Familiarity with accounting software and systems (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Oracle, SAP) is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
