We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Special Education Teacher to join our team in Quincy, Massachusetts. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with students in a diverse and inclusive environment, helping them achieve their full potential with individualized support and instruction.

Position Details
  • Caseload: Customizable to your experience and expertise, supporting students in grades K-12.
  • Collaborative Setting: Work alongside a team of educators, specialists, and support staff to ensure a holistic approach to student success.
  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, during school hours.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities.
  • Modify and adapt curriculum to accommodate various learning styles and abilities.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching strategies to meet individual goals.
  • Foster a safe and engaging classroom environment that promotes growth and independence.
Qualifications
  • Required Licenses: Massachusetts Special Education teaching license (Moderate or Severe Disabilities).
  • Bachelors degree in Special Education or a related field (Masters preferred).
  • Experience with IEP development and implementation.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students succeed.
