Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented individuals to join our client’s team as Entry-Level Tax Associates in Deerfield, IL. This is a seasonal position, perfect for those looking to gain experience in tax preparation and review while making a positive impact on the community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review individual and business tax returns for accuracy and compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Ensure that tax returns are complete, correctly prepared, and filed in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with tax preparers to address any discrepancies, errors, or missing information.
  • Identify potential tax-saving opportunities and ensure all applicable credits, deductions, and exemptions are considered.
  • Communicate directly with clients and tax professionals to resolve any issues or clarify information.
  • Provide feedback and guidance to junior tax preparers to maintain high standards of tax return preparation.
  • Assist in preparing and reviewing tax-related correspondence and documentation.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in tax preparation, tax review, or a related accounting role.
  • Strong understanding of individual and business tax regulations, tax software, and the tax filing process.
  • Proficiency in tax preparation software.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.


Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
