Salary: $48 - $55 per hour (depending on experience)

Job Description:

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist to join our team in Ashtabula, OH, for the upcoming school year. This is a full-time, on-site position offering competitive pay and the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to support student learning and development.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
  • Provide counseling and support services to students, addressing emotional, social, and academic challenges.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to create supportive and inclusive learning environments.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide expert recommendations.
  • Conduct training and workshops for school staff on mental health, behavior management, and special education topics.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with federal and state regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid Ohio School Psychologist license or eligibility for certification.
  • Proven experience working as a School Psychologist in an educational setting.
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and counseling skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, parents, and students.
