Shipping Clerk

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Description:

We are seeking a Shipping Clerk to support the production of small drones. This role involves receiving, warehousing, and issuing materials, processing shipping and receiving tasks, and assisting the Shipping & Receiving Manager with shipment processing. You will also collaborate with inventory and purchasing teams to manage material consumption, replenishment, and storage.

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Receive, warehouse, and issue materials for drone production

- Process shipping and receiving tasks accurately

- Prepare products for freight shipments

- Assist with shipment processing and ensure timely transfer of production components to inventory

- Collaborate with inventory and purchasing teams to manage material needs

- Maintain material traceability and accuracy of inventory locations

 

Essential Skills:

- Experience in shipping/receiving, packaging, and labeling

- Familiarity with ERP/WMS systems

- Strong organizational and communication skills

- Ability to multitask with minimal supervision

- U.S. Person status for access to export-controlled data

 

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

- 2+ years of fast-paced warehouse experience

- Knowledge of UAV/UAS, drones, avionics, optical payloads, and electrical systems

- Experience with measurement tools (calipers, micrometers)

- Familiarity with FOD (Foreign Object Debris), ISO9001, and AS9100

- Experience with FAA RS, APU maintenance, electrical harnesses is a plus

Pay Rate:

-$22-$28/hr( based on experience and interview)

 

Shift/Schedule:

- 1st Shift: 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM or 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM,

- Monday through Friday

- Overtime required
