Job Description

This position is for a manufacturing team leader on the 2nd shift. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all policies and processes are followed in the plant and will take on a leadership role across all departments. The initial 3-6 months will be dedicated to learning all departments within the facility before assuming the leadership role for the entire facility during an offshift.

Responsibilities
  • Learn and understand all departments within the facility, including machine operating and shipping functions.
  • Operate machines by rolling a nylon-like material over a roto-molding machine to create a 'sock' for the boot.
  • Perform cycle counts and ensure all inventory is correctly placed.
  • Pack boxes and create Bills of Lading (BOLs) to ensure all final products are ready for shipment.
  • Lead and oversee the entire facility during the 2nd shift, ensuring compliance with all policies and processes.
Essential Skills
  • Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Ability to drive a forklift.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with machine operating and inventory management.
  • Familiarity with shipping functions and creating BOLs.

Work Environment

Plastic manufacturing company. 2nd shift hours are from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. Steel-toed shoes are required.
