Technical Recruiter of IT- Part Time

Function:
We’re looking for a recruiter who has experience in the information technology (IT) sector. In this challenging, fast-moving, candidate-driven market, the ideal recruiter will be highly motivated and tenacious. We’re seeking someone who’s willing to learn and remain up to date on the technological developments that influence our hiring needs.
Responsibilities
- Recruit candidates for senior-level IT roles in infrastructure and operations, enterprise application services, planning and governance, and enterprise data management.
- C-level recruiting and Executive Recruiting.
- Consult with hiring managers on overall hiring strategies, and tailor recruitment efforts accordingly.
- Source, screen, and compile a shortlist of qualified candidates for various technical roles.
- Screen and interview candidates to ensure that only the best-qualified are put forward to hiring managers.
- Interview candidates using a combination of methods (ex: structured interview, technical knowledge assessment, behavioral questions).
- Remain up to date on industry trends to ensure that candidates are evaluated using the prevailing standards and measurements.
- Network with potential candidates to promote our brand and to ensure that it attracts qualified professionals.
- Build and maintain candidate database to ensure a solid pipeline of qualified applicants.
- Write and post technical job descriptions on IT specialist job boards, social media, and other relevant channels.
- Remain up to date on technological trends in order to have strategic conversations with hiring managers about their future hiring needs.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 20 hours per week.
- 4 months contract.
- Monday - Friday between 8:00am-5:00pm
- Onsite only.
Requirements
- Education Required Bachelor's degree required; Advanced degree preferred.
- Two or more years of experience in IT or technical recruiting for an agency.
- Ability to be detail-oriented, excellent organizational skills, dynamic, and highly proficient in Microsoft programs (excel, word, PowerPoint, access) and other computer aided audit tools.
- Experience with UKG Pro preferred.
- Strong experience in sales, business development, or client development.
- Strong initiative and leadership skills while possessing the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Proven success in recruiting for the technology sector.
- Technical expertise and an ability to understand and explain job requirements for IT roles.
- Experience using LinkedIn Talent Solutions to source quality candidates.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Tenacity, resourcefulness, and strong ability to build a solid network.
- Proven ability to work across an organization and build relationships with internal and external constituents.
- Ability to appropriately handle sensitive or confidential materials and projects.
- This position will be based out of the national office in Indianapolis, Indiana.
- Current work environment is hybrid; 3 days in the office and 2 days are remote.
- 7 month contract role
