Shift: Day Shift, 8-Hour Shifts (Rotating Start Times: 7 AM, 8 AM, 9 AM)

Job Description:
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a qualified Travel MRI Tech for a 13-week contract position in Shreveport, LA. This role involves working 8-hour day shifts with rotating start times, floating as required, and participating in on-call duties, including nights and weekends. If you are an experienced MRI Tech looking for a travel assignment in a supportive and dynamic environment, this opportunity is ideal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI scans as ordered by physicians, ensuring accurate and high-quality imaging.
  • Float between different areas as required per ministry policy.
  • Participate in on-call rotations, including nights and weekends.
  • Utilize Meditech for patient documentation and charting.
  • Maintain and operate MRI equipment in accordance with safety and operational standards.
  • Collaborate with medical staff to provide excellent patient care and ensure comfort during procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of MRI Tech experience.
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiological Sciences or an equivalent program.
  • Louisiana MRT Licensure required.
  • ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT (MRI) certification required.
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
  • Ability to meet Joint Commission standards, including passing a background check and drug screening.
