Shift: Day Shift, 8-Hour Shifts (Rotating Start Times: 7 AM, 8 AM, 9 AM)

Job Description:
Sunbelt Staffing is looking for a dedicated Travel MRI Technologist to join a healthcare team in Shreveport, LA for a 13-week contract. This position involves working 8-hour day shifts with rotating start times and participating in on-call responsibilities, including nights and weekends. The ideal candidate will have significant MRI experience and be ready to float between departments as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct MRI scans with precision and efficiency, following physician orders.
  • Handle on-call duties, including nights and weekends, as scheduled.
  • Document patient information and procedures using Meditech.
  • Ensure MRI equipment is maintained and operated according to safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff to provide optimal patient care.

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of MRI Tech experience.
  • Graduate from an AMA-approved School of Radiological Sciences or an equivalent program.
  • Current Louisiana MRT Licensure.
  • ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT (MRI) certification required.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Ability to comply with Joint Commission standards, including background checks and drug screenings.
