Intake Coordinator

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionScion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to conduct an immediate search for an Intake Coordinator on behalf of our client, an organization providing life-enriching experiences for children with serious medical conditions, offering support and joy during difficult times. This is a hybrid, contract-to-hire opportunity based in Oakland, CA, with the potential to turn into an amazing permanent position for the right candidate

Responsibilities:

• Act as the first point of contact for new clients, managing inquiries and providing initial information about services.
• Gather and review required documentation from clients to complete the intake process efficiently.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure proper handoff and follow-up on client needs.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the client management system.
• Assist in scheduling and confirming appointments with clients and other relevant stakeholders.
• Monitor the progress of client intake and ensure all processes are completed in a timely manner.
• Provide excellent customer service and support to clients throughout the intake process.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in an administrative or customer service role.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Salesforce or related software a plus.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Compensation:
This position offers an hourly pay rate of $25-27/hr, a monthly technology stipend, medical, dental, vision and voluntary life insurance, an employee assistance plan (EAP), and commuter and transit benefits for those who are working on average 30 or more hours per week. An employee retirement plan is also available.
