Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive functional behavior assessments to identify the root causes of challenging behaviors.
- Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) tailored to each students needs.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of behavior intervention strategies, making necessary adjustments.
- Provide direct support and therapy to students, both individually and in group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to ensure consistent and effective implementation of behavior strategies.
- Train and support school personnel and families in behavior management techniques.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of student progress, behavior data, and intervention outcomes.
Requirements:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification (required).
- Masters Degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience working as a BCBA, ideally within an educational setting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to develop and implement effective behavior intervention plans.
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment for students.
