Rohnert Park, CA - Full-Time Paraprofessional and CNA - Immediate Openings

Employment Type: Contract | Onsite

We are hiring Paraprofessionals and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for a full-time position with the Sonoma County Office of Education in Rohnert Park, CA. This is a wonderful opportunity to work in a school environment, providing hands-on support to students with disabilities or special needs. We are looking for dedicated individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of students

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist students in a classroom setting with academic tasks and personal care needs
  • Provide support for students with special needs, including those with autism and other learning disabilities
  • Assist with mobility, feeding, and other daily life activities as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers and special education staff to ensure that students are receiving proper support
  • Monitor students' physical health and assist with any health-related concerns
  • Help collect and maintain student progress data for IEPs and reports

Position Details:

  • Location: Rohnert Park, CA (Close to Santa Rosa)
  • Hours: Full-time, 8:30 AM - 2:30 PM (hours may vary slightly depending on the site)
  • Start Date: ASAP for the current school year
  • Hourly Pay Rate: $22+/hour based on experience
  • Interviews: Zoom or in-person interviews available

Qualifications:

  • Paraprofessionals: High school diploma or equivalent, experience working with children or students with disabilities preferred
  • CNAs: Must have an active CNA certification in California
  • Ability to assist with daily living activities and personal care
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
