1:1 ABA Paraprofessional

Do you have a desire to provide support, attention, and guidance to young students with behavioral needs? ProCare Therapy is currently searching for a dedicated Paraprofessional to join one of our trusted school districts located in beautiful Franklin Park, Illinois. The ideal candidate will have sufficient knowledge and experience implementing Applied Behavior Analysis techniques to contribute to the success and redirection of the student. Job Description

  • Full time
  • M-F
  • 37.5 hours per week
  • ASAP start - end of school year (May 23)
  • Position will be 1:1 with a student with behavioral issues
    • Goal is to integrate the student into general education classrooms
  • Looking for someone with sufficient behavior, ABA, and 1:1 experience???????
    • ???????Must also be experienced with data collecting and assisting with behavior plans
  • In-person position only

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Para Educator's License (PEL)
  • Experienced with ABA techniques and working in behavior classrooms
  • Comfortable with toileting, feeding, and lifting if asked to do so
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other educational staff
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Reliable Transportation
  • Pass a drug test and a background check

As a ProCare employee, you will be paid on a weekly basis through direct deposit. Your hourly rate will be dependent upon your experience and education.
