In this role, you'll play a vital role in helping individuals with communication challenges reach their full potential. You will conduct comprehensive evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver engaging therapy sessions to address a variety of speech and language disorders.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to identify communication needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEPs/treatment goals
  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services in individual and/or small group settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, medical professionals, and families to ensure a cohesive and successful treatment approach.
  • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and report on outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest evidence-based practices in speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) from an accredited university.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for ASHA certification (CF-SLP).
  • Virginia state licensure
  • Strong clinical skills in speech and language assessment, intervention, and program development.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor with a commitment to client-centered care.
  • Proficient in documentation and record-keeping practices.
