Job Description:
Hampstead School District is seeking a dedicated School Paraprofessional for the 2024-2025 school year. The paraprofessional will work closely with teachers and staff to support students in their academic, social, and behavioral development. This position plays a key role in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers with classroom activities, lesson implementation, and student supervision
• Provide individualized or small group support to students, including those with special needs
• Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a structured, positive learning environment
• Support students with daily tasks, transitions, and educational goals
• Assist in preparing instructional materials and organizing classroom resources
• Supervise students during non-instructional times, such as lunch, recess, or field trips

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Previous experience working with children, particularly in a school or educational setting (preferred)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude
• Ability to collaborate with teachers and staff to meet students' needs
