We are looking for a Receptionist to join our team based in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. As a receptionist, you will play a crucial role in handling customer interactions, managing data entries, and ensuring smooth office operations. This is a short-term contract employment opportunity.


Responsibilities:

• Manage the reception area and efficiently handle incoming calls, including transferring calls and taking messages

• Act as the first point of contact for new claims, filling out the first notice of loss and coordinating with the claims admin for system input

• Handle data entry tasks effectively, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in updating customer records

• Assist in preparing and distributing mail across the office

• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing customer inquiries promptly and professionally

• Maintain organized files and records, preparing job files as required

• Utilize Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Outlook for various administrative tasks

• Schedule appointments, managing the office calendar efficiently

• Use your interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with customers and team members.

• Proficiency in answering a multi-line phone system
• Demonstrated customer service skills
• Experience in data entry tasks
• Proficiency in email correspondence
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience in using Microsoft Outlook
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word
• Experience in organizing files and documents
• Ability to schedule appointments effectively
