Our client in the NE Atlanta Area is seeking a Sr. Accountant for a Direct-Hire position.

This is a 100% On-Site opportunity.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead month-end close by preparing and posting journal entries, conducting account analysis, and ensuring financial statement accuracy.
  • Perform extensive balance sheet reconciliations, supporting audit inquiries and documentation.
  • Handle sales tax filings and intercompany transactions as part of financial reporting.
  • Produce financial reports to provide insights into the organization's financial health.
  • Manage and analyze operational and financial data to track key metrics and trends.
  • Support audits by providing necessary documentation for P&L and balance sheet inquiries.
  • Drive ad hoc projects to enhance financial processes and reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate financial data capture.

EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3-5+ Years of senior-level accounting experience, with a focus on month-end closing processes.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Related Field.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel Skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP and data analysis functions.
  • Experience with ERP Systems, SAP preferred.
