We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Collections Specialist in the financial industry As a part of our team, you will play a pivotal role in managing collections for both business-to-consumer (B2C) and business-to-business (B2B) accounts, handling varied payment terms, and utilizing different accounting software systems.

Responsibilities:

• Handle collections focusing on multi-unit condos within the large loss unit

• Manage both B2C and B2B accounts, including some renter accounts

• Work directly with condo associations to handle different payment terms

• Apply payments post-collection ensuring the accuracy of customer credit records

• Utilize different software systems such as CRM, Epic Software, and QuickBooks for various tasks

• Answer inbound calls to resolve customer inquiries and maintain customer satisfaction

• Administer claim processes and other billing functions

• Utilize Accurint and ADP for financial services

• Maintain strong organizational skills to efficiently process customer credit applications

• Demonstrate adaptability and excellent interpersonal skills in dealing with customers.

• Minimum of three years of experience as a Collections Specialist or in a similar role.
• Proficient in Accounting Software Systems, Accurint, ADP - Financial Services, and CRM.
• Familiar with Epic Software and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Experience in answering inbound calls and performing billing functions.
• Skilled in claim administration and collection processes.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to maintain professionalism and respect at all times, particularly during difficult conversations.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions under minimal supervision.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field preferred.
