Location: Tualatin OR
Compensation: $55-58K

  • Implement procurement strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their purchasing needs and requirement.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities and offering.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to ensure favorable terms for the organization
  • Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns that may arise
  • Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock availability while minimizing excess inventor
  • Collaborate with production planning and purchasing teams to ensure timely delivery of materials
  • Manage freight logistic issues in working directly with a broker for shipping related needs, on-time delivery, etc.
  • Ensure compliance with federal acquisition regulations and other relevant guidelines
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify and address any supply chain disruptions or quality issues

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field; experience in manufacturing plant is a plus
  • Proven experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related role
  • Strong knowledge of materials management, category management, and contract management principles
  • Familiarity with quality management systems and root cause analysis techniques
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Proficient in using procurement software and tools
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment


Pay Details: $55,000.00 to $58,000.00 per year
