Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented individual with direct experience in Quality Inspection. The role involves final inspection of finished aerospace engine parts and components, ensuring that all parts meet customer criteria before they are sent out.

Responsibilities
  • Perform final inspection of finished aerospace engine parts and components alongside another inspector, re-inspecting everything on the part before it is sent to the customer.
  • Conduct visual and dimensional inspections using required gaging and measuring equipment, such as micrometers and calipers.
  • Measure various features and holes on a part or component to determine if it meets customer requirements.
  • Interpret operation sheets and blueprints to understand customer specifications.
  • Ensure that all inspected parts meet customer criteria for an acceptable part.
  • Complete required paperwork for defective parts or parts needing re-work.
Essential Skills
  • Experience in Quality Inspection within a CNC machining environment.
  • Proficiency in reading micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
  • Ability to use measuring tools in daily responsibilities.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs daily, with occasional squatting.
  • Availability for overtime, including up to 8 hours per week and the last two Saturdays of the month.
  • Experience with CMM report reading.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints to understand customer specifications and tolerances.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Aerospace experience is a plus.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00
