Project Architect

We are looking for a talented and experienced Project Architect to join our team, focusing on commercial projects. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the design and execution of various commercial architectural projects, ensuring they meet client expectations, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and oversee architectural designs for commercial projects from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with client goals and budget.
  • Collaborate with clients, consultants, and project teams to gather requirements, develop design solutions, and create project schedules.
  • Produce high-quality architectural drawings, specifications, and documentation using industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress, ensuring compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution and address any design-related issues that arise.
  • Prepare and present design proposals and project updates to clients and stakeholders, incorporating feedback and making necessary adjustments.
  • Mentor junior architects and design staff, providing guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, building codes, and sustainable design practices.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
  • 3+ years of experience in architectural design, specifically in commercial projects.
  • Licensed Architect (RA) or in the process of obtaining licensure preferred.
  • Proficiency in architectural design software, including Revit, AutoCAD, and SketchUp.
  • Strong understanding of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction methods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
