BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Machine operator  for an opportunity in Sparta, TN 38583 


Position Title: Machine operator 

Location: Sparta, TN 38583

Anticipated Start Date:09/20/2024

Please note this is the target date and is subject to change. BCforward will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date.


Expected Duration:12 Months with a Strong possibility of Extension.

Job Type: Contract 40hr week/Onsite

Schedule: 12 Hours- Rotating Alternate Day Shift. 


Pay Range: $ 16 to $17/hr. on W2

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.). 


Job Summary:

  • Experienced Manufacturing Operator to support 24X7 rotating shift operation. 
  • Chemical Handling and/or Plastics Compounding experience preferred. 
  • Must posses strong safety, quality and productivity orientation, with good written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Must display moderate mechanical aptitude and physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs. 
  • Able to take direction and function with limited supervision.
  • Experience = 0-3 years

Additional Description: 

  • Complete written and/or hands on training in the following areas
  • Forklift, convey systems, making a blend, valves, feeder cleaning, Roving, line packout, STW, turnaround (end of line), cleaning pelletizers, and other miscellaneous items
  • Maintain an acceptable attendance record
