Job Description

- Operate presses and perform repetitive tasks

- Load and unload rubber into the machine

- Lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly

- Visually inspect products for quality assurance

- Transport materials to the next station in the manufacturing process

- Complete production tickets, press production sheets, and downtime sheets

- Stand, walk, bend, and twist more than 80% of the workday

- Work in a fast-paced environment

- Set up and operate mixing equipment

- Load and unload materials into milling machines

- Produce and prep raw materials based on batch tickets

- Utilize computers to check scales, loaders, mills, and vacuum hoists

- Perform inspections of materials for defects and inconsistencies

- Complete documentation and paperwork

- Drive tow motor

- Maintain a clean work environment by sweeping and cleaning

Work Environment

The environment is not temperature-controlled, and the presses operate at 300 degrees, making it very hot despite fans running 24/7. The job is physically demanding, involving standing at one press for an entire shift, especially challenging during summer heat.
