We are seeking a skilled Production Operator to join our team at Mercury Plastics. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling parts from extruded product to customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities- Operate various heating, forming, splicing, and punching machines to produce high-quality products.
- Perform general assembly and make limited adjustments to equipment as authorized.
- Form plastic tubing using heat panels and ovens, and cut plastic tubing to size using automated cutters.
- Inspect product for quality and conformance to specifications, and prepare product for shipping.
- Responsible for accurate production reporting and maintaining a clean work area.
- Hand-eye coordination and basic math skills.
- Prior manufacturing experience is preferred.
- Ability to stand for up to long periods of time and lift up to 30 pounds.
- Must be able to twist, pull, push, and bend, and identify quality variances visually.
