We are in search of a Finance Manager to join our clients team in Omaha, Nebraska. The role involves overseeing the finance and accounting functions, with a specific focus on the food and beverage industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising day-to-day facility accounting tasks, managing internal controls and compliance, and overseeing human resources operations.


Responsibilities:

• Oversee and maintain internal controls in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, ensuring compliance for tax reporting purposes.

• Supervise the process of recording manual journal entries and oversee various finance-related processes to ensure accounting records are complete and accurate.

• Manage and maintain budgeting and forecasting, including operating budget, monthly forecasting, capital budget, and cash flow analysis.

• Work with external auditors to complete the annual audit and issue audited financial statements.

• Manage and oversee all human resources operations, including recruitment activities, conducting new employee orientations, maintaining records of benefits plans participation, and coordinating training for managers and employees.

• Review and sign off financial statements, budget reports, and other analyses as needed in a timely and accurate manner.

• Manage the facility's cash flow needs, investing idle funds while maintaining a minimum operating account balance to fund operations.

• Handle all Payroll, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable functions.

• Advise management on appropriate resolution of employee relations issues and ensure compliance with legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions.

• Administer various Human Resources plans and procedures for all facility personnel.

• Proven experience as a Finance Manager with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role
• Proficient in Accounting Software Systems and ADP - Financial Services
• Familiarity with BlackLine, Concur, and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
• Extensive knowledge and experience in Accounting Functions, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Demonstrated experience in Auditing and Billing Functions
• Proficiency in GAAP Accounting
• Experience in handling Month End Close procedures
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage, guide, and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used
• In-depth knowledge of financial law and risk management practices
• Proficient user of finance software
• Strong ethics, with a customer-oriented approach
• Well-organized with excellent leadership skills
• BSc/BA in accounting, finance or relevant field; MSc/MA is a plus
• Professional certification such as CFA/CPA or similar will be considered a plus.
