We are seeking a dedicated and driven Legal Assistant for a contract-to-hire position located in Long Beach. Grounded in years of experience in a legal environment, you'll provide top tier administrative support in a bustling law firm. This role is perfect for a diligent, detail-oriented professional with exceptional comprehension and implementation capabilities.
Responsibilities:
• Do diligent court filings at local, state, and federal levels. • Craft and format legal documents such as TOAs/TOCs using relevant templates. • Oversee and manage the firm's calendar, demonstrating proficiency in Law Toolbox. • Oversee attorney timekeeping to ensure optimal productivity. • Leverage software platforms like MS Office (Outlook) and NetDocs for efficient office management.
Qualifications:
• Proven work experience as a legal assistant or legal secretary. • Proficient in MS Office (Outlook) and NetDocs. • Familiarity with Law Toolbox, utilized particularly for schedule coordination. • Exceptional organizational skills, allowing for effective multitasking. • Excellent oral and written communication skills, being prepared to work in a dynamic team environment. • Autonomous worker, capable of independent function while demonstrating collaborative team interaction.
