We are searching for a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Rockwall, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for handling all aspects of accounting, including full cycle AP/AR, commercial and consumer collections, bank and credit card reconciliations, and full cycle payroll for a large team of 150+ employees. This role also involves HR administration, including maintaining employee records, ensuring compliance, and managing benefits administration.


Responsibilities:

• Manage full cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable

• Handle commercial and consumer collections

• Conduct bank and credit card reconciliations

• Oversee full cycle payroll and payroll tax for a large team, including garnishments, 401k, and benefits deductions

• Carry out HR administration tasks such as maintaining employee records, ensuring compliance with unemployment law, and administering benefits

• UtilizeQuickBooks Desktop

• Perform general ledger functions and prepare journal entries

• Execute annual budget and cash flow analysis

• Manage billing processes

• Perform credit card reconciliation.

• Must hold a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or Accountant

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required

• Strong understanding of Computerized Accounting System is necessary

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required

• Experience in handling Accounting Functions is crucial

• Must be well-versed with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience in preparing Annual Budgets is required

• Should possess skills in Cash Flow Analysis

• Proficiency in QuickBooks or QuickBooks Enterprise is essential

• Prior experience in Full Cycle Payroll is necessary

• Must hold experience in Bank Reconciliations and Credit Card Reconciliation

• Experience in Billing procedures is a must

• Should be skilled in making Journal Entries and managing General Ledger
