Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech)
Location: Santa Cruz, CA
Schedule: Day/Evening Shifts, 8-Hour Shifts, Call Included, Every Other Weekend (EOW)

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech) for an assignment in Santa Cruz, CA. This position involves working day/evening shifts with 8-hour shifts, taking on-call duties, and rotating every other weekend. This role is First to Float as needed within the radiology department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform specialized interventional radiology procedures using fluoroscopy equipment.
  • Operate diagnostic imaging equipment in accordance with protocols, ensuring patient safety.
  • Assist physicians during IR procedures, maintaining sterile fields and providing patient care.
  • Evaluate images for quality and accuracy while following regulatory compliance.
  • Handle emergency on-call shifts and be flexible to float as needed within the radiology department.
Requirements:
  • Active ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) certification
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • Valid Fluoroscopy Permit (CA)
  • Minimum of 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience
  • Experience working with fluoroscopy and other radiologic imaging equipment.
  • Strong understanding of sterile technique and safety protocols.
  • Flexibility to take on-call shifts, float, and work every other weekend (EOW).
Assignment Details:
  • Location: Santa Cruz, CA
  • Shift: Day/Evening, 8-hour shifts, including call and every other weekend.
  • Duration: Travel contract (length to be discussed upon application)
