Responsibilities
• Facilitate patient check-in and check-out procedures in an efficient manner
• Verify the accuracy of patient insurance details
• Ensure smooth communication by answering and directing phone calls
• Handle high volume of patient records while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy
• Utilize Epic EMR system for maintaining and updating patient records
• Perform basic office duties such as operating office equipment and maintaining supplies
• Use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook for various administrative tasks
• Understand and use medical abbreviations accurately in communications and records.
• Proficiency in using Epic EMR system for maintaining patient records and scheduling appointments.• Ability to handle inbound telephone calls efficiently and professionally.
• Demonstrated skill in directing phone calls to appropriate departments or personnel.
• Understanding and accurate usage of medical abbreviations in both written and verbal communication.
• Experience in operating basic office equipment such as fax machines, photocopiers, and scanners.
• Possession of basic office skills, including filing, typing, and managing correspondence.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook for managing emails and scheduling.
• Skilled in using Microsoft Word for document creation, editing, and formatting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data entry, analysis, and report generation.
