Senior AP Specialist

Ledgent F&A is recruiting for an experienced Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to join one of our clients in the Beaverton area. This is a direct hire role offering a competitive benefits package.
The Senior Accounts Payable Specialist will manage the full cycle of accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and vendor management. The ideal candidate will have 3-5+ years of experience in accounts payable, preferably within a manufacturing environment, and possess strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Responsibilities:
- Process and review vendor invoices for accuracy, coding, and approval
- Maintain accurate vendor records and ensure timely payments
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with month-end closing activities, including accruals and reconciliations
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve payment-related issues
- Conduct regular audits of accounts payable transactions to ensure compliance
- Generate and analyze reports on accounts payable metrics
- Support year-end audits and provide documentation as required
- Assist in the implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency
Qualifications:
- 3-5+ years of experience in accounts payable, ideally in a manufacturing setting
- Proficient in accounting software and Excel
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
