Responsibilities
  • Maintain laser machine and monitor its operation.
  • Assist with loading sheet metal onto the machine.
  • Ensure a production rate of 30-40 pieces per hour.
  • Stack parts into bins and move bins throughout the shop.
  • Adhere to safety procedures in a manufacturing environment.
  • Communicate any technical issues related to the laser machines.
  • Maintain attention to detail and focus on quality control.
Essential Skills
  • Prior operating experience in a steel/metal facility.
  • Ability to explain a time where they operated a machine at a production rate.
  • Experience with producing 30-40 parts per hour or more.
  • Mechanical inclination.
  • Experience using a check fixture or measuring a part.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with CNC laser machines is preferred.

Work Environment

Open positions are available on the 2nd shift with two different schedules: 8's (2:00pm - 10:30pm) and 10's (4:00pm - 2:30am). Optional overtime is available on Saturdays from Noon to 6pm.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00
