Were currently seeking an enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time role in Bloomfield, NJ.

Role Summary:
The full-time Speech-Language Pathologist will work closely with students to evaluate, diagnose, and treat various speech and language disorders, empowering them to succeed academically and socially. This position involves creating customized treatment plans, delivering therapy sessions, and collaborating with educators, parents, and support staff to address students individual needs.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments to determine students speech, language, and communication strengths and challenges.
  • Develop individualized therapy plans aligned with each students educational goals.
  • Provide direct therapeutic services in individual and small group settings.
  • Track student progress through consistent documentation and reporting.
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and the educational team to support student development.
  • Offer insights and resources to staff and families for supporting language and communication skills.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to remain current in best practices for speech therapy.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Valid New Jersey SLP license.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Experience in school-based or pediatric settings is a plus.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills.
  • Passionate about supporting students' growth and communication abilities.
