Onsite Requirement: 100% onsite

Job Description: We are seeking a meticulous Accounting Assistant for a key role with our Fortune 500 client in banking.

This is a data entry-focused position that requires strong attention to detail and familiarity with Excel. Training or classes in Excel are acceptable.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform manual data entry and update data in spreadsheets.
• Process correspondence from customers, research check statuses, and make decisions on reissue requests.
• Handle end-to-end processes, including accounting entries and creating customer letters.
• Utilize the "FK" Mainframe system, unique to this group.
• Meet deadlines and work under urgency.

Qualifications:
• Required: At least 6 months of experience in a professional environment.
• Preferred:
• Experience meeting deadlines and working under urgency.
• Faster typing skills.
• Bank operational work or unclaimed property work experience.
• Accounting background for potential expansion of work.

Nice to Haves:
• Experience in bank operational work.
• Unclaimed property work experience.
• Accounting background.
