BCBA Opportunity in Hackensack, NJ

Are you a dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst looking to make a meaningful impact? ProCare Therapy is seeking full-time BCBAs for varying caseloads in Hackensack, New Jersey.

Position: BCBA
Location: Hackensack, NJ
Employment Type: Full-time
Scope: District-wide

Position Details:

  • Dates: September 4, 2024 - June 20, 2025
  • Hours: 30-35 hours per week, Monday through Friday
  • Caseloads: Primarily PreK-K

Duties:

  • Conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
  • Developing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a current teaching certificate for special education issued by the New Jersey Department of Education.
  • Knowledge of function-based intervention planning to develop strategies that reduce problem behaviors and promote more appropriate behaviors.
  • Proficient in techniques for conducting effective Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), implementing function-based interventions, and creating Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
  • Ability to use assessment data to inform instruction and create individualized work plans for students.
  • Expert knowledge of research-based instructional strategies and the ability to implement them effectively.
  • Exceptional understanding of technology to support instruction.
  • Certified BCBA is preferred.
