On behalf of our client in search of a dedicated Customer Service Representative to become a part of our team located in Gilberts, Illinois. As a Customer Service Representative, your responsibility will involve managing customer purchase orders, maintaining inventory levels, and negotiating pricing to ensure the department stays within the budget. Additionally, you will be expected to actively participate in the inventory process and work with other internal departments to resolve any arising issues or concerns. Hours are from 7am-3pm.


Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter and process customer purchase orders

• Maintain and monitor inventory levels

• Negotiate pricing to ensure the department stays within the budget

• Update expected delivery dates and quickly communicate any issues

• Work with other internal departments to resolve issues and concerns

• Maintain the "receiving" process that tracks on-time quantity and quality to purchase orders from all suppliers

• Utilize NetSuite CRM for managing purchase orders and project tracking

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance or logistics or 3 to 5 years of relevant experience

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing or purchasing environment with a focus on accuracy and quality.

• Proficiency in Customer Service is required, with a focus on providing excellent service to all clients and customers

• Must possess strong Data Entry skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Experience in Email Correspondence is necessary for daily communication with clients and team members.

• Ability to handle Inbound and Outbound Calls, ensuring that all customer inquiries and issues are handled promptly and effectively.

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word for documentation and reporting purposes.

• Experience in Order Entry is necessary, with the ability to process orders quickly and accurately.
