Job Description

Join our team as a Manufacturing and Packaging Technician where you will play a vital role in ensuring the accurate and efficient production of our products. This position requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work in a regulated environment while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Follow written work instructions and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Use required personal protective equipment (PPE) including uniform, safety shoes, and safety glasses.
  • Operate scales and manual dispensing equipment.
  • Accurately complete record documentation, logbook entries, and GMP documentation.
  • Perform inspection, labeling, and final packaging of manufactured products.
  • Clean stills and other equipment.
  • Perform small or light assembly work as needed.
  • Assemble boxes and operate a filling machine.
  • Place bottles on the conveyor line for automatic filling with a solution used in R&D.
  • Ensure bottles are sealed and packed into boxes.
  • Stack filled boxes on pallets, lifting weights similar to a case of water.
  • Load 100-150 one-liter bottles onto a cart and push the cart into a refrigerated area.
  • Package jars into boxes and move them onto a cart up to 40 times per day.
Essential Skills
  • Experience in packaging and packing.
  • Proficiency in machine operating.
  • Background in manufacturing.
  • Ability to perform palletizing tasks.
  • Capability to lift up to 40 pounds.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Ability to stand at the workstation for extended periods.
  • Experience in assembly work.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Work Environment

You will work in an FDA-regulated clean room facility, requiring the use of gloves, hair nets, eye protection, lab coats, and occasionally respirators. The work environment is clean, temperature-controlled, and involves working with light materials and products. The hours for this position are 6am - 2:30pm, with overtime from 5am - 3:30pm and some Saturdays in November and December. Be prepared for a hands-on role with a focus on quality and safety.
