Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist

Location: Rose Hill, Kansas

Job Description:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our educational team in Rose Hill, Kansas. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assisting students with speech and language challenges, helping them to succeed both academically and socially. Responsibilities include the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed assessments of students' speech and language capabilities.
  • Develop and implement customized treatment plans for individual students.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students with munication disorders.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to enhance student outes.
  • Keep meticulous records of students' progress and therapy activities.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to setting and monitoring goals.
  • Stay informed about the latest developments and best practices in speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Active Kansas State License in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Certificate of Clinical petence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Kansas State Department of Education (KSDE) licensure for Speech-Language Pathologists.
  • Prior experience in a school setting is advantageous.
  • Strong munication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.

Required Licensure and Certifications:

  • Kansas State License in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Certificate of Clinical petence (CCC) from ASHA.
  • Kansas State Department of Education (KSDE) Speech-Language Pathologist License.
