Ambassador Personnel has an immediate need for Machine Technicians for a local manufacturing company in York, SC.
Competitive pay rates between $24.00 - $27.00/hr with WEEKLY PAY. This position operates Sunday night - Thursday morning with the shift hours of 7:30pm - 6am. This company offers medical/dental/vision insurance, paid family leave, 401K, an employee assistance program, and paid vacation/holidays.
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for on-time start-up of machinery to achieve optimal performance. This position also requires some heavy lifting, up to 75lbs. The Maintenance Technician may also supervise mechanics and other staff as needed to achieve maximum efficiency.
Major Responsibilities:
-Identify and correct operational and mechanical equipment
-Notify production and engineering of malfunctions and the supplies needed to correct/fix problems
-Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment
-Make preventative maintenance checks which include visual defects
-Perform necessary testing of product from the machines for quality specifications
-Make recommendations for new and existing equipment
Competencies/ Experience:
-Proficient with entering and recording data
-Fabrication of components/assemblies from drawings
-Safety oriented self-motivated team player.
