Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Paraprofessional to join our educational team in Palo Alto, CA. This role is essential in providing direct classroom support to students and teachers, helping create an inclusive and productive learning environment. Responsibilities
  • Assist classroom teachers in delivering lessons and activities.
  • Support students with academic, social, and behavioral needs.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group assistance to students.
  • Help implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and acmodations.
  • Monitor and assist with classroom management to maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Supervise students during transitions, lunch, or recess.
  • Collaborate with educators and staff to ensure students success.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Experience working with children in a school or similar setting (preferred).
  • Strong munication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
Position Details
  • Hours: Full-time (35 hours per week); part-time opportunities available.
  • Grades: K-12.
  • Start Date: January 2025.
