Job Description

Candidates could potentially be placed in one of three different departments: solid surface, machine operating, or custom caseworks. Each department involves different tasks and responsibilities related to woodworking and cabinet assembly.

Responsibilities
  • In the custom caseworks department, you will handle various unique projects, using hand tools and power tools such as nail guns, table saws, and hand sanders. You will work in a team of 5-6 people, each working on different projects.
  • In the solid surface department, your main task will be sanding countertops to the required specifications using a hand sander. You will also read blueprints and use an adhesive gun to attach faceplates to the cabinet tops, working in teams of 4-5 people.
  • In the machine operating department, you will operate an edge bander machine to attach and glue edges onto cabinets. You will work closely with another operator, learning to fill in when needed. This department works in small groups of 2-3 people.

  • Experience with production and woodworking
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints
  • Mechanical assembly skills
  • Experience in sanding, painting, and machine operation
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to use tape measures and other measuring tools
  • General labor and carpentry skills

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00
