We are seeking an experienced Sr. Accountant to join our team in Renton, Washington. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining financial records, conducting the month-end close process, and participating in the development and improvement of accounting processes. Responsibilities:


• Play a key role in the month-end close process, ensuring all financial information is compiled and analyzed accurately.

• Prepare complex schedules for prepayments, accruals, and deferrals, and ensure they are maintained efficiently.

• Manage fixed assets, including maintaining proper documentation and calculating depreciation.

• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts as part of daily treasury activities.

• Generate journal entries from the analysis of financial information.

• Aid in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, cash flow statements, and other financial metrics.

• Respond to tax, audit, and other detailed requests from CPA firms and external agencies.

• Collaborate with other departments to facilitate ongoing projects and initiatives.

• Support Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) functions by cross-training and serving as team backup.

• Carry out additional duties as assigned by the accounting manager and other executives.


Salary and Benefits:

The salary range for this position is $95,000-$105,000. Benefits offered with this position include MDV insurances, 401k with a 4% match, 3 total weeks of PTO and 9 paid holidays. This position also offers a hybrid schedule after a 90-day training and review period, in which employees are allowed up to 3 days per week to work from home.

• 5-7+ years of experience in a similar role.

• Must have experience with QuickBooks Desktop.

• Must possess a thorough understanding of account reconciliation

• Experience in balance sheet reconciliation is required

• Proficiency in bank reconciliations is necessary

• Must be knowledgeable in managing a general ledger

• Experience in preparing and maintaining journal entries is needed

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential

• Must have experience in month-end close procedures

• Familiarity with fixed asset management is required

• Experience in budgeting and forecasting is necessary

• Proficiency in conducting audits is required

• Must have hands-on experience in treasury activities

• Strong skills in financial reporting are essential
