Responsibilities:
• Handling the scheduling of appointments and meetings.
• Processing incoming and outgoing mail accurately and promptly.
• Creating and managing legal documents such as briefs, agreements, and memoranda.
• Opening and closing legal files in a timely and organized manner.
• Assisting in the transcription of legal documents and correspondence.
• Handling legal matters with professionalism and discretion.
• Navigating and managing legal affairs with an understanding of legal knowledge.
• Ensuring the accuracy of legal descriptions in documents and records.
• Assisting in the drafting of legal opinions when required.
• Providing support for legal assistants in their daily tasks.
• Must have a strong understanding and experience with drafting legal documents and legal agreements.• Demonstrable experience in handling legal affairs, including legal research and analysis.
• Proven work experience as a legal assistant or similar role in the legal sector.
• Ability to prepare legal briefs and other legal documents with precision.
• Proficiency in understanding and interpreting legal descriptions and legal documentation.
• Experience in handling legal correspondence and maintaining legal files.
• Must possess sound legal knowledge and the ability to apply it in practical scenarios.
• Proven skills in drafting legal memoranda and handling legal matters.
• Capable of forming and articulating legal opinions based on facts and laws.
• Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Must have a proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills.
• Must be proficient in using legal software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Must have a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
• Must possess a law degree or certification in paralegal studies from a recognized institution.
