Our Team Needs Multiple School Social Workers for the 2024/25 School Year in Bridgeport, CT
Position: School Social Worker
Location: Bridgeport, CT
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Full-time | 37.5 Hours per week
Caseload:Multiple Openings | Elementary, Middle, and High School Caseloads Available

Key Responsibilities:- Provide one-on-one and group counseling to help students navigate social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
- Partner with teachers, parents, and support staff to create tailored support plans that foster student success.
- Conduct assessments to identify needs and develop targeted intervention strategies.
- Participate actively in team meetings, contributing your insights to enhance the overall student experience.
- Masters Degree in Social Work (MSW) is required.
- Current Connecticut licensure as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is essential.
- Must possess School Social Work Licensure in Connecticut.
- Previous experience in a school environment is highly preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities are a must.
- Engage directly with students and staffthis is an onsite role, as we believe in the value of personal interaction.
- This opportunity is a W-2 contracted position for the 2024/25 school year, offering stability and support.
